Required Paperwork

Foster Parent Documentation Guide

Welcoming a foster child into your home means you'll be communicating with several agencies—such as medical providers, school administrators, and social workers—regarding the child’s care.

To ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL), county regulations, and Children’s Hope Foster Family Agency requirements, certain documentation must be submitted regularly.

Ongoing Support

An agency social worker will review your required documentation monthly while children are in your care. If you do not currently have a child placed in your home, friendly reminders will be sent when necessary.

Continuing Education

Resource Parents must complete 12 hours of continuing education each year. We recommend Foster Parent College, but courses completed elsewhere may also fulfill this requirement.
