Yahoo! A Group Created for Foster Parents

Foster Parents, a Yahoo! group for CHFFA foster parents has been created! The address is:

This group is for foster parents looking to give away goods or items no longer needed, and can also be used to request needed items. You can also loan items, however guidelines regarding damage and replacement should be established. This site will not be held responsible for any misrepresentation or false statements of its members.

"For Sale" posts are allowed for large items like cars, bedroom sets, etc. but those should be kept at a minimum and should not be posted unless you are selling the item (or items) at a substantial discount, as this group's basic purpose is to benefit our local foster families.

Please post items for free whenever possible. You can also share community resources and other items that are beneficial to foster families. Although not required, etiquette would suggest that you do not request an item until you have posted an item (for free of course).

No spam or political posts! This is a local group and is family friendly, including kid-friendly, so all posts must be such. Posts that do not conform to the above guidelines will be deleted.

The more members we have the better the chances of success! Encouraging other foster parents to join will help our site flourish. Participation only requires that you go to the site and enter your information.
